The Time for Denial is Over is an exhibition by artist Nicole Chochrek, at Context Collective (95 4th St, Troy, NY 12180) from October 23 - November 21, 2026.
Opening Reception: Friday, October 23 from 6pm - 9pm
The exhibition will include community-based work, creating opportunities for local participation, collaboration, and engagement. Presented in partnership with Nature Lab, The Sanctuary for Independent Media, RPI, and Broken Plastics, the exhibition brings together artistic, community, and interdisciplinary perspectives to consider the environmental realities of our present moment. Through her work, Chochrek invites viewers to consider our relationship to plastic by confronting visual narratives in which it exists and persists.
