The exhibition will include community-based work, creating opportunities for local participation, collaboration, and engagement. Presented in partnership with Nature Lab, The Sanctuary for Independent Media, RPI, and Broken Plastics, the exhibition brings together artistic, community, and interdisciplinary perspectives to consider the environmental realities of our present moment. Through her work, Chochrek invites viewers to consider our relationship to plastic by confronting visual narratives in which it exists and persists.

This modular exhibition invites local communities into an active, hands-on making process. Through a series of public workshops, participants are guided in transforming microplastics collected through the Microplastic Recycling Art Bins into mosaic tiles. As the exhibition accumulates contributions over time, each new tile becomes evidence—both material and narrative—of how plastic moves across our landscapes. The growing installation visualizes these invisible flows and dispersals, revealing a collaborative portrait of pollution that is rooted in place, collective action, and creative intervention.
